Manuel Haußner has been a research assistant and doctoral student at the Chair of Tax Law and Public Law at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) since 2014. Since 2017 he has also been working at the Energy Campus Nürnberg (EnCN). As part of his work at the chair, he collaborates with the ClimateStrategies research network in London and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) in Berlin on projects relating to climate policy, in particular emissions trading. At EnCN he deals with the regulatory requirements of energy market design. His research focuses on European climate protection law, ecological tax law and energy market law.
