Jan Rolfes (born 1988) has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Wirtschaftsmathematik at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and the Energy Campus Nürnberg (EnCN) since 2019. He studied at the University of Cologne and university of Liverpool and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economathematics and a phd in applied mathematics in the topic of geometric coverings. His research interests focus on convex optimization, especially semidefinite and combinatorial optimization.
