The application of building physics principles is the foundation of the research and development effort of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP. It conducts research on topics related to building physics such as acoustics, energy efficiency, indoor climate, hygiene and sensor technology, building material recycling and hygrothermics.
