Gennadiy Verba is President of Atlas LTA Advanced Technology, Ltd. (Israel). He has started his lighter-than-air career in the late 1980s in Ukraine being student of Lviv Polytechnic University. Since that time, he leaded several airship and aerostat developments in Ukraine, USA, Russia, India, and China. Since 2010 his major efforts aimed to ATLANT – the new type of cargo aerial vehicle. In 2016 he founded the Atlas LTA company in Israel that integrates vast experience, novel technologies, and materials for all types of LTA aircrafts, including ATLANT. In 2021 with partners, he founded Strasa.tech – service startup company developing the new concept of HAPS based on previous joint project with Google Loon. From 2020 Gennadiy works at Atlas LTA on the new generation of electric sightseeing blimps – Atlas-11 and others.
