Analysis of Variance in Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Measurements

Analysis of Variance in Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Measurements

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is a powerful method for characterizing battery cells, as it provides detailed insights into electrochemical processes, transport phenomena, and aging mechanisms.
The project investigates the influence of variance between cells and different operating and boundary conditions on the impedance spectra. The aim is to identify characteristic frequency ranges or measurement points that are particularly suitable for rapid yet meaningful state assessment. This will enable the development of approaches for time-efficient rapid characterization of battery cells that can be used in both research and industrial applications.
