Visit by students from Mines Paris-PSL and FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg

On April 29, as part of a Franco-German engineering exchange organized within the European university alliance EELISA, we welcomed students from Mines Paris-PSL and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg to EnCN.
To kick things off, Research Coordinator Susanna Bordin gave the visitors an introduction to the work at EnCN and presented the diverse research areas. Following this, Julian Richter from the Chair of Electrical Energy Systems delivered a technical presentation and provided our guests with fascinating insights on the topic “Innovations for Critical Energy Infrastructure – The Hardware-in-the-Loop Concept.” To conclude the Franco-German visit, Andreas Bammes from the Chair of Electrical Energy Systems led a tour of the real-time simulation laboratory for electrical grids, bringing to a close an engaging exchange between students and representatives of the EnCN.
Many thanks to EELISA for their interest in the EnCN, and to Susanna Bordin, Julian Richter, and Andreas Bammes for organizing the visit!
