About FAPS:
Research at the Chair of Manufacturing Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), a member of ENERGIEregion, has gained significant relevance in recent years due to the growing importance of electric vehicles and energy storage systems. Battery research has also continued to evolve and is now an integral part of the research conducted at the chair. With the growing interest in electric drives and energy storage systems, FAPS is thus making an important contribution to the development of technologies that drive the mobility and energy transitions.
