The BaLista project deals with the sector coupling of battery systems with Li-ion cells, electrolysis and stationary fuel cell systems for energy storage in decentralised energy systems. The aim of the project is to transfer knowledge and technology in the field of decentralised storage technologies in order to support companies undergoing structural change in energy technology.

The BaLista project serves to transfer technology from universities to SMEs in two areas of work:
1. Optimal grid integration of stationary energy storage systems in terms of power and energy
2. Sector coupling through energy storage in decentralised grids
